Municipality socialized regulations for the election of the Queen of Puyo

On the afternoon of this Tuesday, March 19, the new regulations that will govern the election of the new queen of Puyo during the festivities for the 125 years of the Foundation were discussed with neighborhood leaders. The document seeks to return to the traditional way in which the sovereign of the city and the unity of the neighborhoods were elected.

For this reason, it establishes as one of the basic requirements that the candidates must represent a neighborhood and not an association or institution, although they maycount on your sponsorship. They must also be Ecuadorian, be between 18 and 24 years old and have lived for more than 10 years in Puyo.

Registration will be until April 12 at the Department of Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Pastaza
